OCTEAM allows patient’s team to stay connected and on-point through various stages of treatment.
About YAEL Center
The Yael Center is a professional therapeutic organization which focuses on speech therapy and multi-dimensional therapy via two unique methods, the VML and MDT methods accordingly. It is called Yael in honor of one of the first children Dr Vashdi treated at the beginning of his professional way. The idea to choose this type of name to the clinic came from the deep understanding that the knowledge and service are being developed for the children . The methods development started at 1997 while the center has been in existence since 2005.
About VML METHOD
The VML method is a treatment system targeting motor speech disorder and specifically Apraxia of speech in children and adults. The VML method was developed in Israel, by Dr Elad Vashdi, through clinical experiences with children with Apraxia of speech. The VML system is part of a bigger therapeutic system called MDT (Multi-dimensional therapy) and represents the interdisciplinary approach in therapy.
About MDT METHOD
MDT method is a tool designed to implement the multi-disciplinary therapy idea. Many therapists and educators believe in the idea but in order to work with it they need a tool that will guide them through the process. The MDT method pretends to give the answer. It is a dynamic, developing tool that includes:
- Evaluation forms for all domains.
- Analysis forms that help the therapists and guide them in the analysis process.
- Treatment plan forms
- Treatment programs for every domain
- Accessories and tools for every therapeutic subject
